The Woman of My Life

The Woman of My Life

There is a woman in my life,
soft as morning light,
yet strong enough to hold my world together.

She has seen me at my weakest,
and still chose to stay.
She has carried my days when they grew too heavy,
and turned my silence into comfort.

She feeds my body when emptiness calls,
and feeds my heart when the world feels cold.
Even when life turns its back on me,
she remains—constant, unshaken, whole.

Her love is not something that can be bought,
nor replaced,
not even by the richest treasures of the earth.

She shaped my first steps,
and built my becoming with patient hands.
In every part of me,
there is a piece of her sacrifice.

To compare her with another
would be to forget what love truly means,
for no one can take her place.

She is the star in my night sky,
the warmth in my coldest hours,
the quiet strength behind my every rise.

My mother
my forever hero.
