St.Mark College Namagoma

Life Skills and Social Etiquette:

In addition to the standard examinable subjects, the school provides guidance and counseling classes to “bring up” the children, not to just let children “grow up”. This is the basis of our cherished Motto “To Be Not To Seem”. The college imparts useful values, especially integrity, responsibility, respect, hope, and hard work. At St. Mark’s College, we believe that formal education is a means to a successful life, and is not an end in itself. The College will help the students to define their life goals at an early age and provide them with skills to attain set goals. Research has shown that most successful individuals worldwide have had clear visions and goals at an early age and are ready to pay the price to achieve the chosen goals. St. Mark’s College resolutely invites highly successful people to the campus to talk and provide the much-needed inspiration to the students.

Games and sports:

The school is progressively establishing excellent co-curricular activities that supplement the class lessons. Teachers are required to identify Children’s talents and help the children to reach their full potential. The school plans to host all standard games within the campus, including but not limited to the following: Soccer, athletics, volley ball, lawn and table tennis, basket ball, swimming, music dance and drama, Badminton, and Hockey. Students are encouraged to participate in at least one sport of their choice, or where the teachers find that a child has talent and it can be developed. The school as a whole takes very active participation in inter-school competitions/tournaments. Students are also encouraged to participate in various associations and clubs to build their public participation and community advocacy.
